Budget and Working Capital for annual SATSA Conference
Introduction
We take great pleasure in putting our bid forward for your consideration for the forthcoming SATSA conference, and we briefly detail some of the reasons below;
- We have a wonderful province to showcase, one which is often overlooked by its counterparts
- The conference venue we wish to advocate is easily accessible to both those flying into OR Tambo and or KIA
- SATSA members can opt to self-drive to the venue or take advantage of arranged coach facilities
- Only 14 SATSA KZN members attended the conference held in Fancourt. This is possibly due to the cost of travel. Should we host the 2016 conference, we anticipate increased attendance
- The venue and surrounds offer a variety of places of interest and activities, and we are optimistic that this will result in SATSA members staying in the province for longer than the conference dates
Suggested Conference Dates
Suggested, and temporarily held, conference dates
- 21st – 24th July 2016
- 25 th – 28th July 2016
- 28th– 31st July 2016
Getting to the conference venue, Champagne Sports
We have considered a number of venues for the conference, however have opted for one which apart from being in a spectacular vicinity, meeting all our immediate requirements accommodation and budget wise, also lends itself to being a half way mark between Johannesburg and Durban.
The two most probable ways to get to Champagne Sports are;
- Self-drive, which would be directly for the delegates own account
- Chartered coaches leaving from Johannesburg and Durban airports respectively – see budget breakdown
